Captain’s Log: Week in Review December 8-14

Captain’s Log: Week in Review December 8-14

So it has been a long week. The family has been sick, and I have been buried in tissues, cough drops, and other stuff. Nonetheless, here is the week in review – albeit a bit late.

I started the week off talking about a free cemetery plot that I won. In the words of Forest Gump. “I have yet to see a dime of that money.” Next up, I revealed a mystery track off of my amazing Christmas Mixtape from almost 30 years ago. I did a sponsored post about a body scrub. Next I talked about toys breaking.  I revealed another mystery track from my beloved mixtape. I talked about the time that my minivan kept swearing at my daughter. I wrote a post about National Believe Day. I discovered the power of popsicles and even met a legendary football player.

Last week I mentioned that I was writing as part of a challenge group. I would love for you to check out the sites of the other members of our courageous writing crew:

Freelance Mama

Mom Paradigm

Green Moms Collective

Creative Cynchronicity

Ask Mama Moe

The Big To-Do List

Whine and Cheese

Eclectic Soapbox – Tales From the Couch

3 Chickens and a Boat

Mom Dad and Cuppa Kids

Positively Patty

Common Cents Mom

Pretty awesome crew that has been keeping the Captain honest and writing everyday. Halfway there. 15 days in a row. This is epic.

That’s all for now…Captain out!

  1. Dang it I’m so peeved I missed two days! Does it count if I post twice in one day? Lol. Thank you for the shout out and it has been a real pleasure getting to know you and reading your blog. 🙂

  2. 15 days in you wrote this – only 5 to go now! Having way to much fun. Will you be continuing for another month? I’m not sure how well that will work out for me. I have enjoyed this journey with you and the rest of the team. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Captain!
