Captain’s Log. Daddy Chronicles. Diaper Date 1708. The Captain will be returning soon with a big post. Sorry for my absence, but the end of the school year, baseball season, new doors, and other chores have been munching my time away. There are six days left with students and seven overall! And then the concert season begins for the Captain. It will be a good summer.
Last night was pretty fun – the diaper dweller and the eldest played, intentionally, with each other for the better part of a half hour. The game? Pull your little brother on a blanket across the floor. The eldest would pull him until he slid off (safer than it sounds) and then he would get up, laughing, waddle to the blanket and plop himself back down. Hilarity ensued. Fortunately, it wore him out. Unfortunately, it only snore her up for a more difficult bedtime. A good night nonetheless.
